Meet Sharon
Former ballerina and creative Yoga Instructor
I was in the midst of my professional dance career when I had a calling for Yoga. The calling became stronger as the years went by, and so I was not surprised to feel immediately at home the first time I stepped into a Yoga studio at Atlanta Yoga. The style was Ashtanga, a very classical lineage of Yoga, and I fell in love with the practice. It reminded me of the discipline of my ballet career.
Yoga served me well in my dance as dance has continued to serve me well in Yoga. It was clear to me that I was ready to incorporate Yoga more fully in my life. In 2001 I completed my certification at White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA, returned to Atlanta, and began teaching while still performing as a dancer.
As someone who has always wanted to create choreograph and to inspire others through movement, I eventually created my own style which I call “Liquid Flow.” This practice is influenced by my dance experience and Ashtanga background and is the foundation for my Yoga classes and workshops.

"With music and movement I inspire and physically challenge my students, to help them create space for opportunities that serve them for the higher good, as they step off their mat and transition back into their world."

Intelligent Sequencing
Sharon’s “Liquid Flow” Yoga is a unique and uplifting moving meditation practice, focusing on fluid, dynamic and intelligent sequencing designed to create heat, as well as help us get out of our heads and into our bodies. The classes are fun, playful and active, so get ready to sweat and move, to a background of creative music mixes that will touch your senses, culminating with a deep relaxing Savasana.
Sharon’s Intelligent Sequencing is a creative choreography made of a series of repeated movements linked together. It helps move and create energy throughout our bodies, giving renewed structure, coherence, and meaning to the Yoga practice. It aims to create space for inspiration, knowledge, skill, patience, and compassion.
